About Us

Who We Are

Progressive Abolition of Torture and Hope for Survivors International (PATHS)

At PATHS International, we are a global coalition of survivors, activists, legal experts, and human rights defenders united by a singular mission: to eradicate torture in all its forms and illuminate pathways to healing, justice, and dignity for survivors. Founded in [Year], we operate at the intersection of urgent advocacy and trauma-informed care, challenging systems of cruelty while rebuilding lives shattered by violence.

Our Story

Torture thrives in silence. PATHS International was born when survivors from conflict zones, authoritarian regimes, and marginalized communities refused to let their suffering be erased. What began as a grassroots network of shared testimonies has grown into a force of systemic change, partnering with the United Nations, local NGOs, and mental health professionals in Cameroon. We amplify silenced voices, dismantle structures that enable abuse, and prove that survival is just the beginning of a story.
